Abstract

Monitoring internationalization through global surveys shows its increasing importance in higher education and the centrality of preparing students for a globalized world for many institutions. The pursuit of prestige, the focus on student mobility and the persistent popularity of Europe as a priority, are some of the trends that require vigilance to avoid risk of exclusion for less well-resourced institutions and regions.
