Abstract

How do law, economics, and technology interfere with the deliverance of ethically sound medical care? This paper investigates the complexity of medical ethics in the modern world through the case of Jahi McMath, a thirteen-year-old girl who was declared brain-dead following complications after a routine tonsillectomy.
