Francisco's Story: From El Salvador to Massachusetts
Abstract
The best stories are the stories that are never told. Understanding how privileged the author is to be studying at Boston College compared to other members in his family he decided to interview an uncle of his to uncover a story that made his uncle successful in his own sense. This essay is a research paper with the author's uncle as the primary source. It talks about escaping the Civil War in El Salvador to immigrating to the United States. The author challenges the negative thoughts about illegal immigration on USA's southern border by telling a story of success.Published
