Author Biography

Jeffrey Bloechl

Jeffrey Bloechl (Ph.D., Catholic University of Louvain) is an associate professor in the department
of philosophy at Boston College and an honorary professor of philosophy at Australian Catholic
University. Bloechl is a prominent interpreter of the thought of Emmanuel Levinas, and works closely
in phenomenology and Christian philosophy. He is also founding series editor of Levinas Studies:
An Annual Review (Duquesne University Press) and Thresholds in Philosophy and Theology
(University of Notre Dame Press).
