After a hectic period of implementation, the staff soon began to adjust to the <span class="s1">system. Over </span>the past year and a half, they have devised ways to use the <span class="s1">syst</span><span class="s2">e</span>m to maximum advantage, so that manual and machine systems now mesh in <span class="s1">close </span>harmony. Freed from time-consuming clerical&nbsp;<span class="s1">chores, </span>the <span class="s1">staff </span>have been <span class="s1">challenged </span>to <span class="s1">use </span>their released time to best advantage, with the result that the <span class="s1">"service" </span>in <span class="s1">"Circulation </span>Services" is much closer to being a reality.</p> ER -
