About the Journal

Focus and Scope

Romance eReview is a peer-reviewed graduate journal of literary and cultural criticism, published annually by the Department of Romance Languages and Literatures at Boston College. The journal is edited and managed by the Master's students of French, Italian and Spanish literature, under the supervision of a faculty committee. Romance eReview represents an integral part of the pedagogical training of the Master's students of Romance Languages and Literatures at Boston College.

Peer Review Process

Papers submitted to Romance eReviewers by outside authors (non-affiliated with the Department of Romance Languages) are blind-reviewed by three or more Master's students. After being accepted articles are also reviewed by at least one faculty adviser.

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
