Author Guidelines

The Bellarmine Law Society Review adheres to the Chicago Manual of Style for both stylistic preferences and citation format. During the review process, submissions are judged on journal applicability, overall argument, authorial references, originality, and cumulative impression. The Editorial Board will only accept submissions between 10 and 40 double‑spaced pages in length.

Authors should ensure that:

  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it under consideration by another journal.
  • The submission file is in Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) format.
  • The text is double-spaced, uses 12-point Times New Roman font, and adheres to the Chicago Manual of Style (footnote citations).
