Author Biography

Kevin Conroy

Kevin is a linguist and Celticist originally from
Western New York. He studied linguistics as an
undergraduate at Boston College, graduating in 2008.
Supported by a Fulbright grant, he spent two years
studying the Irish language in Ireland, completing an
MA in Modern Irish at the National University of
Ireland, Galway in 2010 and then an MA in Language
Planning in 2011 also through NUIG. Returning to Boston College, he finished his Linguistics MA in 2012. Kevin has also taught Intensive Modern Irish at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
